THE PERSISTENCE OF OBJECTS

As I am sure you know, objects in your inventory may be closer than they appear... I mean, they vanish at reset. This can be annoying when you have collected stuff you need to solve a puzzle, and suddenly your supplies have vanished and you have to go round harvesting them again.

Thanks to a change in the way the game's databases work, we are pleased to announce that very shortly, objects are going to become persistent - that is, they will not get zapped at reset. At least, not necessarily; POs will have a choice when putting objects on their planets as to whether they should be persistent or not, so that some objects will be temporary and others permanent.

The new code for persistent objects will be going in sometime in the next month, and we'll launch it with a party at which you will be able to get a special souvenir object which you can keep forever and ever. More details next week.
