LEAVING THE GAME

The best way to leave the game is to type 'QUIT'. This means that there is no chance of your character being left in the game after you have left. However, if you are having problems, you can also drop the link to Federation by selecting the 'Log Off Fed2' item in the 'Connect' menu. In extreme cases, you can close the program down completely by selecting the 'File' menu and clicking on 'Exit', or by clicking on the Windows close button.

If you choose to do this, though, the game may not immediately notice that you have left, and your character could be at risk.
