NEWSDROIDS GOING BACK TO FACTORY FOR CHECK-UP, SO NO STAR NEXT WEEKEND

My new team of newsdroids (Thing1, Thing2 and Thing3 I call them – I really should come up with better names for them) have settled in nicely and are producing some good quality stories for the Star with minimal supervision. However, because they use brand new technology that isn’t available to the public yet, they have to return to the factory for regular tests. Once they put this edition of the Star to bed and turn it over to me to press the big red PUBLISH button, they will head back to their birthplace and submit themselves to a week of poking and prodding by the technicians.
This means there will be no Fed2 Star next weekend. The Star will be back on Sunday August 6.
