Music group OK Go are famous for their inventive videos, but their new one surpasses everything they have done before – it sees them performing in zero-gravity!
It is filmed in an airplane, and I am guessing it’s doing the kind of maneuvers that the plane nicknamed the vomit comet, used to train astronauts, does – that is, it climbs and then falls rapidly, which simulates the feeling of weightlessness experienced in space.
But that only gives periods of free fall that last about 20 seconds, and the OK Go video appears to be one seamless take lasting several minutes. Video trickery, clever editing, or I don’t know what…
