DUMB CRIMINAL VIDEO OF THE WEEK: TRAPPED!

A thief broke into a mobile phone shop recently, but then became trapped in a secure area and had to wait for police to rescue him.
What’s more, the whole incident was caught on CCTV.
The suspected burglar crawled through an air conditioning duct in order to break into a Boost Mobile Store. This triggered an alarm – problem number one. Problem number two was that the store wasn’t open to the public yet, so had no merchandise.
When the wannabe robber realised there was nothing to steal, he ran through a door that he thought was an exit. But it wasn’t – it led to a secure area with reinforced steel doors. Problem number three. He was trapped.
The video footage shows his growing desperation as he tries to escape for 45 minutes, kicking the doors and even trying to break through them with a hammer and other tools. But to no avail; he was stuck there until police showed up and arrested him.
Shame he didn’t have a mobile phone to call for help…
