IT’S TIME FOR THE NEWSDROIDS SUMMER HOLIDAY

It’s time for the Fed2 Star to cease publication in order for the newsdroids to have their summer break – and given the lack of news there is at the moment, it’s just as well!
My faithful metal minions tells me that they have tickets for Steelstock, a music festival for droids which is being held on a comet as it approaches the sun. The headline act is the chart-topping robot group, Johnny Five and the Live Wires, but my newsdroids are really looking forward to the heavy metal sounds of Apocalypse Wow. The members call themselves after the Four Horsedroids of the Apocalypse: Droid Death on vocal synth and lead guitar synth, Droid War on bass guitar synth, Droid Famine on bass guitar synth and Droid Rust on drum synth.
My newsdroids are also big fans of the grunge band, Oily Crush, who are expected to debut some of the songs off their new album, Acid Etch, although they are notorious for leaving fans waiting for several hours before coming on stage – or not showing up at all. If that happens, I predict a riot.
I plan a more sedate week: a well-deserved rest at an establishment for overworked celebrities where I will be pampered and indulged (and I utterly refute any suggestion that I am going into rehab; that is a cruel and vicious slur on my character).
The upshot is that there will be no Fed2 Star for the next two weekends (September 5 and 12). We will be back on September 19.
