PROPOSAL OF THE WEEK

Some men don’t think getting down on one knee to ask their girlfriends to marry them is spectacular enough. So they try to come up with a way to propose that will really demonstrate their devotion.
But things don’t always go to plan. A man from the Dutch town of IJsselstein’s proposal turned into a complete disaster.
He decided to hire a mobile crane so he could descend from the sky down in front of his beloved’s bedroom window to sing her a song and pop the question. Hmmm, sounds creepy, but maybe she’d like that kind of thing.
Unfortunately the crane wasn’t secured so it toppled over and landed on a neighbour’s house. Things got worse when during an attempt to right it, the crane fell over again! People from nearby properties had to be evacuated for safety.
The good news: nobody was hurt. The bad news: the neighbour’s roof was smashed in.
But the really good news: she said yes anyway! Awwww.
