US CLOCKS WENT FORWARD LAST WEEKEND
by Hazed
I managed to miss the fact that last week was the start of daylight saving time in the US. This is when you start to put a little bit of daylight into a jar each day, to save it up so that in the midst of the winter gloom you can release it again to brighten things up.
The start of the American summer time meant clocks went forward one hour in most of the US. Here in the UK we don’t shift the time until the end of March, so for the next few weeks we are out of sync. As a consequence, the reset will happen one hour later for those in the US, at approximately 9.00am eastern time, until our time catches up with yours.
