NEW WEEK – NEW NEWSDROIDS

The Fed2 Star is back from its training week, and the two ex-waitdroids who have been retasked as newsdroids have been given the responsibility of putting together this issue of your fave paper – closely supervised by my good self, of course.
My bad self is in reserve to deal with them if they screw up.
So far they haven’t made any major mistakes. The data modules on spelling, grammar and punctuation that I plugged in are working well. The quality of off-the-shelf droid programming has really improved since the last time I had to break in a new minion.
Meanwhile, I have this pile of ashtrays cluttering up the office, the remains of the former, traitorous newsdroids. What could be more useless in these days of ash-free, smoke-free, cancer-free cigarettes, I cannot imagine! Maybe I’ll have them reformed into drinks coasters.
