REAL LIFE NEWS: BARBIE GOES TO MARS

Speaking of Mars... The makers of the impossibly-proportioned fashion doll Barbie have given her a new outfit. It’s a space suit, and is designed to allow her to travel to Mars.
At least, it would be if it wasn’t missing a few crucial items. For a start, it has no gloves so would provide no protection at all against vacuum.
It does come with an oxygen supply, but there are no hoses to feed the oxygen into the helmet, so Barbie wouldn’t be able to breathe when walking around on Mars.
Still, I suppose it might encourage girls to think a career as an astronaut is possible.
