RERUN: PLEASE SEND IN YOUR CRASH REPORTS
by Hazed
I am going to repeat what I said in the last issue of the Star: if you are in the game when it crashes, please send us an email about it.
It’s very important!
There are something like 80,000 lines of code in the program that makes Fed happen. Right now, Alan doesn’t know which bit of the code to even start looking at to figure out why we are still getting the occasional crash. He needs a clue, a hint, a pointer to tell him where to start looking.
The game has a reset every day at 8.00am eastern, which is preceded by two warning messages, and from time to time we may need to shut it down at other times but we will always come into the game and tell you on the comms is that happens.
A crash is when the game shuts down unexpectedly, without any warning.
So I repeat:
If you are in the game when it crashes then you should send an email to feedback@ibgames.com telling us what you were doing at the time of the crash. The more detail you can give, the better. If you can include a capture showing your activities, better still.
Thank you.
