REAL LIFE NEWS: NOT A GOOD PARKING SPOT
by Hazed
If you’re searching for a parking space, sometimes you might be tempted to park where you shouldn’t. Like the guy in this story.
He wanted to leave his Mercedes at Edinburgh Waverley station, one of the busiest in Scotland. He saw a large, empty car park so decided to leave his car there. Never mind that the area had been cordoned off with barriers - he moved one of the obstructions so he could park in this lovely empty space.
Next morning, the workmen who had cordoned off this car park arrived to do some resurfacing work. When they saw that this bozo had parked in the middle of their designated working area - which they had deliberately blocked access to - they decided to just get on with their work anyway. So they carefully dug up the car park all around the Mercedes, leaving it parked on a small island of asphalt!
Check out the sight at the source link below.
They did build a tiny ramp so the driver will be able to get his car out when he returns. But he’s still going to get a shock.
