GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS

The good news is that the game is now accepting new players again (although the notice telling you that you can’t set up a new account has remained up all week, and will finally go away at today’s reset).
The bad news is that the crashes haven’t stopped.
There’s obviously something more going wrong that wasn’t fixed by Alan’s work. He’s going to have to investigate further, put more debug into the game, and figure out where the bug is.
More good news is that Alan has been spending a bit of time cleaning up some of the outstanding problems from the crashes. He has fixed a bug that prevented Financiers from buying shares in a business. Thanks to Snocat for reporting this bug - his report was detailed and gave the information Alan needed to go straight to the source of the problem.
Alan is currently taking a look at some of the other bugs that have been reported.
I will take this opportunity to ask you to send us your crash reports. If you’re in the game when it crashes, send some email to feedback@ibgames.com (put Fed2 in the subject line) and send us a capture that shows what you were doing before the crash. Even if you don’t think you were doing anything significant!
