UPDATING THE WEBSITE - AND FINDING LOST GEMS

I told you a while back that I was updating the ibgames website. It’s a long slow process because there are thousands of pages, going back many years, and each one of them has to be painstakingly rebuilt using the new design.
But it’s progressing. Recently I updated the help pages and the game rules with all their supplements. Today I worked on all the pages in the Maps section.
While I am carrying out this mega-revamp, I am finding all kinds of lost gems I had forgotten all about - and I daresay that most of you won’t remember them either (if you ever saw them in the first place).
For example, there’s the Designer’s Notes - Alan’s diary of the process involved in the rewrite of the game code to produce the current version.
There’s a history of ibgames which documents all of the different systems Federation has run on, as well as the other projects we were involved in over the years.
The Battle of the Game Designers is a record of a debate between Alan and another game designer.
And the ibgames gallery has some beautiful artwork by our favorite artist, which we commissioned for Fed and also for another game, Age of Adventure.
I’ll tell you about some of the pages I find hidden down the back of the sofa as I continue with my redesign work.
