REAL LIFE NEWS: TINY MEMORY CARD SWALLOWED TO FOIL POLICE

A Canadian hang-glider has attempted to thwart a police investigation into a suspicious death - by swallowing a memory card!

It happened after one of William Jonathan Orders’ hang-gliding customers died. According to reports, Lenami Godinez-Avila came loose from her tandem glider just after the duo took off. She clutched onto the pilot before falling 300 meters to her death. Another para-glider, who was there before the take-off, has accused Orders of missing a crucial safety check called “the hang test”.

Police wanted to examine video footage taken from a camera mounted on Orders’ glider, but he swallowed the card to prevent them. Police have now conducted X-ray examinations to confirm that the card is inside Orders’ body.

He has been charged with obstructing the course of justice, and is being held in custody while the police wait for nature to take its course...
