REAL LIFE NEWS: WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE FOR AN IPHONE?

by Hazed

I didn't report it at the time, but recently a teenage boy apparently sold one of his kidneys so he could buy an iPad 2. You can read this astonishing story here.

Now a story has come out of a Chinese teenage girl who was so desperate to get her hands on an iPhone, she offered something a bit less tangible than an actual body part: her virginity.

She was reported to be so upset when her father refused to buy her one of the coveted smart phones that she posted a picture of herself on the Chinese blog site Weibo, added some personal info, and made the explicit offer: buy me an iPhone 4 and you can pop my cherry.

This was greeted by a number of cruel remarks saying she wasn't worth an iPhone 4. Ouch! Other respondents reckoned she didn't post the offer herself but was the victim of a cruel prank.

At the tme of writing, we don't know if she has lost her virginity, or gained an iPhone.
