THE BILLS NEED PAYING

by Hazed

"The best things in life are free," says the song. Well, if you consider Fed to be one of the best things in life, the song is correct up to a point. The game is free for you, the players, but it still costs us money to keep it running.

And so, to continue with the song, "I want money - that's what I want."

I want it because every month I have to pay Fed's bills, to keep it connected to the internet so you can play. To pay me back I rely on you players giving me your money.

You do that by purchasing slithy toves, which are tokens that can be exchanged in the game for goods and services. Examples of things you can buy with slithies are: the navcomp upgrade that aids in getting around Sol, a variety of price checkers for anyone trading on the Galaxy's exchanges, and a teleporter to make it easy to jaunt around. You can also buy decorative items such as the limited edition charms on sale from Gallagher's on Earth or the July 4th charm from Chez Diesel on Mars.

A slithy tove costs $5, and if you subscribe you get a big discount (4 for the price of 3). Go to the Extras page to make a purchase, subscribe, and read about all the things you can do with slithies.

Thank you.
