VIDEO OF THE WEEK: THE CLASH OF THE CYMBAL

When a drummer strikes a cymbal, it goes clang. Or ting. Or something similar. But what's really happening to that metal disk? Well, if you video it and slow it down to 1,000 frames per second you can see that it goes all wibby wobbly, as if it were made out of jello.
