REAL LIFE NEWS: CHICKENS ONE, HUMANS NIL

In an amazing case of poetic justice, a California man who was a spectator at an illegal cockfight has died after being stabbed by a chicken!

One of the roosters involved in the fight had a knife attached to its leg, and at some point the bird stabbed Jose Luis Ochoa in the leg. When police arrived to bust up the illicit gathering, Ochoa fled the scene. He was later declared dead in hospital.

He'd previously been fined for owning or training an animal for fighting, paying $370. Clearly this wasn't enough to put him off the gruesome sport.

Serves him right!
