ADVANCE WARNING: NEWS BREAK COMING UP

It's that time of the year when the Fed2 Star has to take a break. Not because of anything exciting, like holidays, but because of boring old real life work commitments.

You see, I work at a college (for 16-18 year old students) and our busiest time of the year is enrolment, when all the newbods SHOW up to be enrolled onto the courses they are going to study for the new academic year. I'm in charge of the large team of people who sit at computers to put the details of the student's courses onto our database. There's a week of intense preparation to make sure everything is ready and the staff are all trained, then two weeks of extremely hard work and long, long hours, so by the time the weekends come around, all I will be capable of doing is sleeping.

So we take a break here at the Star HQ. The last issue of the news will be next week, August 22, then we'll have a three-week hiatus, and return on September 19.
