Scientists have discovered the genetic variation that makes a four-leaf clover. This means that breeders could soon be able to grow more of the "lucky" variety. Normally, only one clover in 10,000 has four leaves, with the rest sticking to the non-fortunate three. Of course, there could be a finite amount of luck attached to clovers, which will then be diluted amongst the higher number of four-leaf planets produced! |
