COME TO OUR EVENTS

Did you know that we run weekly events in Fed2? Games and contests that let you take a break from your hauling, trading or world-building and exercise your brain in a different way. The problem is, the events can only run if enough people show up to play them, so we need more of you to come along and join in.
We try to run events on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays:
- On Tuesdays we alternate between Fed Phrase Game, where you have to guess the letters in a Fed-related phrase, and Fedpardy, which is a Jeopardy-style quiz where we provide the answers and you have to give the question
- Thursdays is Federgories, where you're asked to come up with examples of things to match the categories, such as Fed people beginning with H - but only unique answers score points, so you need to try to guess how your opponents are going to answer and not just give the obvious one, which of course would be Hazed! (You can see a report of the latest Federgories game in the event reports section of this issue.)
- Saturdays alternates the games Wacky Words, where you have to unscramble anagrams, and Fed Libs, where you make phrases in which the words start with the letters in an initial word, such as BELLA - Big Elephants Like Laughing Aloud (not a brilliant example, I know, but it's all I could think of on the spur of the moment...)
