REAL LIFE NEWS: CAR CRASH WEDDING

by Hazed

A couple wanted to drive to their wedding reception in style, so they hired a very expensive Ferrari costing £130,000 - and then smashed the car into a traffic light.

The bride and groom had spent £500 to rent the Testarossa for an hour, to make the day really special, intending to arrive at the reception in Treviso, northern Italy, in the 180mph car. But they made it just a few yards before swerving off the road straight into the traffic light. The car was virtually a write-off, and insurers say repairs could cost as much as £60,000.

They had to sign over a £20,000 insurance deposit on the car which they won't be getting back!

What's more, the groom was fined £50 for damaging public property.

You can see a picture of the wrecked Ferrari here.
