REAL LIFE NEWS: CROOKS IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING

by Hazed

An extraordinary story from Argentina, where two jailbreakers are continuing to elude police by disguising themselves as sheep!

The two runaways broke out of General Alvear maximum security prison in central Buenos Aires on 4 April. They were last spotted on 7 April by a ranch worker who was putting out the trash and was confronted by two guys "dressed in grey clothing with sheep skins over their heads and shoulders."

They asked the worker, Demetrio Romera, for food and a mobile phone and told him they were on the run from the authorities. He refused them, and they ran off again.

Previously, they'd tried asking for horses at another ranch, and when that labourer refused them they had beaten him up and swiped the two sheep skins which they then used as their disguise.

It seems like a bizarre thing to try, but it's obviously working because despite a police dragnet of 300 officers and a helicopter, they still haven't been caught.

This brings a new meaning to the phrase "on the lam".
