REAL LIFE NEWS: REAL LIFE IMITATES FED IN DRUNKEN MAKE-UP BRAWL

by Hazed

You know in Fed, when there's a group of you in a bar and someone suddenly goes quiet because they have suddenly gone AFK, and its just like they've fallen asleep, so you use the ACT command to do stuff like putting icecubes down their shirts, or putting the cocktail umbrellas from the drinks into their hair, or - and here's the significant bit - painting their face with wild colors?

Then when they wake up, or come back to the keyboard, they scroll back and see what you did to them, and complain about it, and everyone laughs, and we all have a jolly good time?

Well if you try that in real life it might not end up with such hilarity. In might even involve the police.

That's what happened in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, recently, when police were called to a home where a fight had broken out after one man applied makeup to another while he was unconscious.

The 25-year-old victim reported that he, his neighbour and some others had been drinking, and he'd passed out on the porch. When he woke up later he found that someone had applied makeup to his face, painted his fingernails, and written obscenities all over him.

He was angry at this so when his neighbour returned home he confronted him. Things descended from a verbal argument to a scuffle, and then his neighbour punched him in the face a few times.

The police reported that because of the makeup, it was impossible to tell if the man had any facial injuries. The officer said, "Both parties appeared to be intoxicated and were told to stay away from each other." Sound advice, if only they can follow it (not so easy when you live next door...)
