PICTURES OF THE WEEK: LONG-SERVING SPACECRAFT

We haven't been putting objects into space for all that long really - Sputnik 1 was launched by the Russians in 1957, just 52 years ago. But it's long enough that the fact that some of the spacecraft from decades ago are still up there doing their thing is pretty amazing.
