REAL LIFE NEWS: DUMB CRIMINALS OF THE WEEK

by Hazed

Thieves in Foley, Alabama, made off with the medication cart from a nursing home. It was loaded up with about 2,000 pills for distribution to patients. They wheeled the cart out the back door of the building and loaded it into a car. A nurse saw the car drive off and she called the police to report the crime.

When officers arrived they noticed a clue... dozens of the tiny paper cups which are used to hand out the pills to patients were scattered about. The cops started to follow the trail, which continued for almost a mile. At the end, they found three men, the vehicle the nurse had described, and the stolen medication cart. The cups had blown out of the car window as the thieves drove away.

They were arrested and charged with theft and receiving stolen property. They should probably have been charged with littering offences as well!
