ENHANCE YOUR AIRPORTS TO PROVIDE INTER-PLANETARY TRAVEL

by Hazed

So you've built yourself the maximum number of airports (ten of them) to increase your workthing population... but that's not the only thing you can do with an airport. Once you have all ten, you can upgrade their facilities to turn them into inter-planetary hubs, which will allow you to move workers between the different planets in your system. At least, you will be able to in a few days when the test team have finished checking that everything works OK.

The upgrade will cost 5 slithy toves and will cover your whole system. Once you have upgraded the airports on one planet, you will be able to shift your citizens around to and from any of the planets - just make sure you're standing on the one with the upgrade when you issue the command.

The workers will travel instantly, taking their families and dependents with them, and be ready to start work in the factories on their new planetary home right away. Thankfully, you won't have to supervise their journey yourself, finding with their lost luggage, putting up with tiny immature beings asking "Are we there yet?" and dealing with the after-effects of travel sickness!

More details of how this works, including the command, will be forthcoming in a few days when it gets released to players.
