TOP TEN COMMAND BUTTONS WE WISH WE HAD

by Jezz

This week, the inspiration for our Top Ten was a feat of derring-do by Trilleth. In a moment of pure, unbridled fearlessness, she hit the big red PROMOTE button and immediately started to have cold feet. Having asked Hazed for an "un-promote" though, she found that Hazed was quite willing to demote anyone who asked, all the way to Groundhog with no in-between. So all this begs the question... What would you chose for:

The Top 10 Extra Command Buttons We Wish We Had.
10. "Silence". You don't hear anything on comm or TB from a person who has a voice like nails on a chalkboard.
9. "Are You Absolutely Sure?" An automatic warning when resetting the exchange stockpile level for those who meant to only change one commodity and ended up setting the whole darn thing to 200.
8. "Take a Message" sets up an answering machine for TBs received while afk.
7. "RTFM" slaps a player in the back of the head with the manual for asking the same question too many times.
6. "Compress Description" compresses wordy descriptions into allowed space for the more verbose amongst us.
5. "Bounty" offers a payment to anyone finding a named character for the user.
4. "Com Recall" un-comms your last message before anyone can hear it and "UN-Promote" allows you to go back one rank and do all those things you should have done but didn't. But both might be covered be a generic "Undo" button.
3. "Insta-Alt" creates an alt at any level you have already achieved. It comes with one sachet of primordial ooze. Just add water and 100,000 volts.
2. "Infiltrate" allows you to see another player's planetary accounts just for the heck of it.
And my personal favorite...
1. "Delegate" allows you to delegate jobs to another person, like that Akaturi trip to Hobbs End or walking up your exchange.

Thanks go out to Trilleth, Zardoz and Hazed for the ideas, Oddball and Caesar for their input. As you can see, none of the people present were financiers, hence nobody suggested a "Hostile Take-Over" button. I managed to resist the urge to ask for a "Thwap Zardoz" button. Maybe next time.
