THE END OF SUMMERby HazedIn London it seems as if we didn't have a summer at all this year - there were only a few days of good weather. Now it's starting to get cold and it's time to get out the woolly jumpers and heavy-weight duvets. Officially, British Summer Time comes to an end next weekend, when the clocks go back in the early hours of the morning on Sunday October 26 - and it's the same for other countries in central Europe. The US, though, doesn't follow suit until the following week, on November 2, so there will be one week when I am completely confused about what time Fed's reset is supposed to happen. Still, at least I will get an extra hour in bed next weekend. |
