ACTING POSSESSIVE

by Hazed

Players frequently send in suggestions for changes or additions to the game code they would like to see. Sometimes, these are ideas for things that just wouldn't work, or would have serious consequences - Really Bad Ideas. Sometimes, they are not bad ideas in themselves but would be too difficult to code - Unfeasible Ideas. But, from time to time, somebody suggests something that is easy to code, doesn't have any bad side-effects, and is a Really Neat Idea.

So congratulations to Lynnea who made the suggestion that has resulted in the following new command: the Acts command. This is a variation on the Act command, but it puts an apostrophe-S after your name so you can use it to perform actions using the possessive.

For example, if you type:

acts pet cephalopod slithers across the table and dips its tentacles into your drink.

This will come out as:

Newbod's pet cephalopod slithers across the table and dips its tentacles into your drink.

This gives you even more scope for role-playing. What fun!
