ESPERANZA'S LOST PLANET

When Insomnius' new bio planet Boston appeared, it shoved another of the planets out of the system. Hopeless went missing for twenty-four hours until rescued by Bella. The system became Hopelessless; did this double negative mean it had Hope? Well, yes, because that's the name of another one of the planets in Esperanza!

One of the system's factory owners, Jruff, publically confessed to having something to do with the disappearance of Hopeless. He claims he decided to take the planet out for a spin, but was stopped by interstellar cops who impounded the planet. This all seems very unlikely and we think Jruff is one of those people who admit to crimes they did not commit just so they can be the center of attention.

A more plausible explanation is to do with the reality database, which determines how sentient minds perceive the universe. An error in the entry for the Esperanza system removed details of the planet Hopeless; although the planet was still there, along with all its factories, nobody could see it or interact with it in any way. When the Powers That Be fixed the database, the planet reappeared in the system, and all was well again.
