REAL LIFE NEWS: WACKIEST LABEL AWARD WINNER

by Hazed

'Danger: Avoid Death'. That's the label that has been chosen as the wackiest warning label of the year by an anti-lawsuit group. It was affixed to a small tractor. Why anyone would need to be warned against death, who knows? And that's the point of the contest: it highlights the way fear of litigation has lead to absurd warning labels that cover all the stupid things people might do.

Second prize went to a t-shirt label that warns: "Do not iron while wearing shirt" and third price for a baby stroller with a storage pouch, labelled "Do not put child in bag".
