ON THE WEB: GOOGLE EARTH WONDERS

Since the introduction of Google Earth, that lets you look at pictures of our planet taken by satellites, hordes of eager - obsessive, even - people have scoured the images looking for strange sights. From North pole to South pole, and all around the globe, fans have been on a virtual scavenger hunt to see what interesting things they can turn up.

Here's a collection of some of the stranger images that they have found: from shipwrecks to crop circles, ads big enough to be read from space, even a giant pink rabbit.
