PICTURES GALORE

We have an abundance of new pictures of planets and of characters this week which you can put into your FedTerm folders so you can see what players and their worlds look like.

First, we have three new character portraits in the gallery:

• Dennotairn claims to be a male human, but if he is he's been heavily modified. Perhaps he's in disguise!
• Devildog is another male human, who also looks to be somewhat amended. Not someone you'd want to meet down a dark alley. Or a well-lit one, for that matter.
• Zodbot is a neuter robot, who looks... well... it's hard to make out any distinguishing features at all. This surely is the most anonymous robot I have ever seen.

Download the pictures by right-clicking on them and selecting Save As... and put them into the pictures sub-folder of your FedTerm folder.

In the planet picture gallery there are also three new pictures:

• Farpoint, in the Distant system, has a beautiful green aurora swirling in its sky.
• Garden, in the Russia system, shows an ornate formal garden laid out in a symmetrical pattern.
• Superland, in the Crypton system, has tall towers against an exotic orange sky.

Grab these pictures and put them into the Fedterm\planets folder.

If you want to let other people see what you, or your planet, looks like, you should make a picture to show us and mail it to feedback@ibgames.com. Character pictures are 80 pixels wide by 96 high; planet pictures are 172 pixels square. Both should be in .bmp format. Character pictures should be named after your character, ie pugwash.bmp or newbod.bmp. Planet pictures should have a filename to match the planet name, ie marina.bmp or rigel 4.bmp.
