GEEK TOY: DESKTOP TREBUCHET

If you know anything about medieval weaponry, you will know that a trebuchet was a mighty catapult mounted on a wheeled platform, that could fling huge rocks against the walls of the castle you have beseiged. (That's the second time in this issue of the news I have been able to use the word beseiged!)

So just imagine the fun you could have with a tiny trebuchet on your desk. You can fire stuff, like balls of paper, at your work colleagues. What's more, if you're a true geek you will appreciate the fact that this particular trebuchet comes in kit form and you have to assemble it yourself.
