Five players tuned in to play tonight's March Madness edition of Feddergories. Ariadne, Sephorin, Djentsch, Bourbon, and Joe all tuned in to play. I went over how to play and with all questions about how to play answered, began the game.
With the NCAA Basketball Tournament around the corner, tonight's theme was March Madness, and we started off with College Teams starting with A. Ariadne picked up the only point with the only valid answer of Arizona Wildcats. Sephorin got the lone point in round 2, Mascots beginning with M, with the Michigan Wolverine. Bourbon and Ariadne matched with Muskrats. Round 3 saw our first Fed-related category of the night, People, Places, and Things on Toontown, starting with S. All four of our players at that point scored 2 points.
The next round saw us move to the pros and "Favorite NBA Player" starting with M. Dj collected the only point this round with "Michael" (Jordan). Everyone else matched with Magic Johnson. Joe joined in on the next round, with Things to Watch on TV, starting with N. Everyone scored with unique answers on that one, and then came our second Fed-related category, Fed Players starting with T. Sephorin and Dj matched on Tinviper, while Ariadne, Bourbon, and Joe picked unmatched names.
Round 7 was cities that should have a pro sports team, but don't. We had Dunedin (Florida), Dodge, Dubuque, Daytona, and Dollywood, which I decided was close enough, so everyone scored on that one. Then we had "what you would be doing if not playing Fed", starting with S. Djentsch covered the obvious answer genteelly with "sleeping with wife (if i was with her)". Other answers were sightseeing, snowboarding, "sipping on a cold drink", and "sliding around on my kitchen floor". Points to everyone on that one. Our final Fed category was Commands starting with S. Djentsch said split, Ariadne snog, while Sephorin and Bourbon matched on store. Round 10 was Things Associated with St. Patrick's Day, starting with G. Answers given were "Getting drunk" (Bourbon), "green beer" (Joe and Dj), "green chili" (Sephorin), and "Good luck" (Ariadne).
Ariadne had the lead with 11 going into the bonus round, with Djentsch and Bourbon at 8, Sephorin at 7, and Joe with 5. After explaining how the bonus round works, and everyone was ready, I released tonight's Bonus Round category... NBA Teams. All of Sephorin's valid answers were matched, as were all of Ariadne's. Bourbon had a unique answer of Heat, but for Larry, Moe, and Curly, as Doggah would say, "I don't think so, Bourbon!" Bourbon got 1 point in the bonus round. Joe gave 5 unique and valid answers with the Kings, Warriors, Wizards, Clippers, and Hawks, and Djentsch also got 5 with the Rockets, 76ers, Raptors, Spurs, and Nuggets.
After the Bonus Round, we had Sephorin finishing fifth with 7 points, Bourbon in fourth with 9, Joe taking third with 10, Ariadne our runner-up with 11, and pulling out the victory with 13, Djentsch!
