THE FED2 BEGGING BOWL

Christmas is a time for giving and receiving presents, but January is the time for staring at the credit card bills in disbelief and wondering how you ever managed to spend that much. Fed2, though, needs your real-life dollars as much in January as it does in every other month because the bills for networking and computer services roll in like clockwork and have to be paid on time.

We rely on players buying slithy toves in order to finance the game. Slithy toves are tokens that can be exchanged in the game for goods and services. Some of them are functional, such as the ever-popular navcomp upgrade that lets you zoom between planets in Sol, and the expensive but extremely useful premium price ticker that gives you a whole batch of prices in one go. Some are social, like the trading cards you can display or the ability to get married (or divorced if things don't work out). Some give you access to secret locations in the game, for example the keyring that allows you to use the executive washroom in the GA HQ.

Slithies cost $5 each and you can make one-off purchases of anything between 2 and 10, or you can take out a subscription to receive 4 slithies every month for the price of 3 - a 25% discount. You can do both those things from the slithy tove page.

Please buy some slithies this month so we can pay the Fed2 bills and keep the game going.
