FEDTERM CHARACTER PICTURES

The FedTerm front-end does many wonderful things, but in my opinion the most enjoyable of its features is the way it lets you display FedTerm character pictures. If you have a picture for your character, it shows up over the stats panel when you log on - in the gap where that rather unattractive static pattern appears. Then other players, if they have a copy of your picture, can see what you look like when they have a private conversation with you, examine you, or ask for SpyNet info on you.

To see how this works, type 'SPYNET REPORT HAZED'. My picture comes with the FedTerm installation - aren't I lovely?

The FedTerm Picture Gallery is a collection of pictures sent in by Fed players over the years. There are two new pictures in the Gallery:

• Nut is a... well... a peanut in a spacesuit. A peanut with arms and legs, which is how he manages to fly his spaceship. Obviously some sort of hybrid, a genetic experiment from the bio labs of Rhea, perhaps?
• Boffin is a much more pleasant person to look at - a female humanoid with hair in a rather fetching shade of blue. Not as lovely as me, of course, but very attractive for a mere mortal.

Download both these pics from the Gallery, and then see about making your own picture so everybody can see what you look like. You will find information about how to do that, along with some sample pictures you can use, on the FedTerm picture page.
