REAL LIFE NEWS: KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR HALLOWEEN KIDS

by Hazed

If your children are going out trick-or-treating this Halloween, you may be concerned about their safety. After all, banging on strangers' doors to ask for sweeties is not generally considered a very wise thing for kids to do! So a fancy dress shop in London has come up with a high-tech solution: costumes with built in trackers.

The gadget has been devised by staff at Angels Fancy Dress, in conjunction with TrackerShack. The tracker is a battery-powered global positioning system which can be tracked via computer and should work for up to five hours. Worried parents can get Angels to sew a tracker into the costume of their choice.

Details of the tracker are on the Angels web site - while you are there, take a look at the fabulous costumes they have on offer!

On a completely irrelevant personal note: the Angels shop happens to be directly opposite one of my favorite restaurants, and every time I eat there I look in the Angels window to see what brilliant costumes they have got on display. The restaurant, Bali Bali, serves Indonesian food and I recommend that visitors to London try their special rice tafel. Take a look at the Bali Bali web site here.
