One of my favorite pubs in Sol has always been Breakfast in Fur on The Lattice. There's just something almost sensual about sipping my morning tea while sitting in a fur-lined teacup. As long as it isn't kitten fur, I'm fine with it.
Today, wishing to share this experience with others, I gathered a group of Cryptogram players, added a few friends, and we had a small gaming party. We had a couple of new players to the game this week, Kalandra and Milar. Both showed great talent, and it is to be hoped they play regularly.
Today, with rumors of promotions to Engineer flying fast and furious around the spaceways, I decided to salute all our marvelous planet owners by dedicating today's puzzles to the theme of Planetary Builds. Builds in Fed2 are so different from those in Classic, though I must admit I personally miss hauling in those tons of commodities, then pacing my bar for an hour waiting for my build to complete. Ah, how far we have come from those days! Anyway, on to the first puzzle.

Miral finished this puzzle first, followed by Kalandra, Gilar, Zand, and Caesar.
Anyone past the rank of adventurer should be familiar with the regular commodity groups: agricultural, resource, etc. But, when it comes to doing builds, the commodities are divided into other groups as well.

Gilar surprised us all and added a challenge by finishing this puzzle before Kalandra, followed by Caesar and Zand.
The final puzzle is usually harder and this one was no exception. Some of the founders have only done a few builds, while others seem to have had a building explosion on their planets.

Zand beat out Kalandra, Gilar, and Caesar, but when the scores were tallied, Kalandra finished first, Gilar second, and Zand third. We play Cryptograms each Saturday at 4.00pm eastern. We had a donated slithy to give away this game, but Kalandra asked we save it for next week, so it is still up to grabs.
