FEDTERM CHARACTER PIX

There's some new races in Fed2 DataSpace... meet Medrwyn, who is a gorn, a cute little furry thing, and Caliboss, a decidedly less cute ghorbian who appears to be an ape-like creature. You can see exactly what they look like by downloading their character pictures from Desertwolf's picture gallery.

These pictures are intended to be used with the FedTerm front-end. You may have wondered what the rectangular spaces containing a kind of interference pattern are for - there's one above the stats panel, and another at the top of the screen. Those spaces are for character pictures. The one above the stats panel displays your own picture, and the one at the top shows the picture of a player if you ask for SpyNet information on them using 'SPYNET REPORT playername' or examine them - provided you have downloaded their picture.

To display your picture, first you need to create a graphic of your Fed2 character! Draw one yourself, edit a real life photo, find a suitable pic on the web somewhere, or choose something from our selection of generic pictures. If you're really stuck for ideas, talk to one of the Fed2 staff in the game - maybe they can come up with some suggestions.

The FedTerm picture page gives you the size and format information you need, as well as links to pictures you can use. Drop the finished picture into your FedTerm\pictures sub-folder and next time you log on, it'll show up on your FedTerm screen.

Then email the pic to feedback@ibgames.com and we'll publish it in Desertwolf's picture gallery, so other players can download it. You should also go to the gallery and grab all the existing pix, so you can see who you are talking to!

Important note: If you sent Desertwolf a picture in the last few months, it may have got lost, so check the gallery - if it's not included, send it again to feedback@ibgames.com.
