TRANSFORM SLITHIES INTO INFRASTRUCTURE

The alternative way to fund the building of planetary infrastructure which was explained in last week's Star is now operational. Planet-owners can use the command 'TRANSFORM SLITHIES' to convert four slithy toves into 10 meg. The money is placed into the planet treasury where it can be used to build something useful.

However, because we don't want to allow players to simply buy their way up the ranks with their real-world dollars, this feature can only be used once every 30 days. Well, players could rely solely on money generated from slithies in this way but it would take 30 months to amass enough builds to promote to Engineer!

Only days when you log on will reduce the countdown until you can transform slithies again. If you don't put in an appearance in Fed DataSpace at some point during the game session (ie between two resets) then the counter will remain the same.
