APRIL CHARM NOW ON SALE

Gallagher's, the upmarket store on Earth, has put the new charm for April on sale. This month's keyring accessory is an emerald containing flashes of green light - an obvious ploy to tie in with the Martian lights which recently decorated the skies of Mars. Clearly, Anton Gallagher is incapable of seeing a band-wagon go by without jumping on it at high speed. It's just a shame that the unexplained light show ceased before the shop could get their piece of jewellery on sale!

Anton Gallagaher may have been disappointed at the bad timing, but he didn't show it as he summoned the Galaxy's press to the official launch of the new charm yesterday; and I have to admit, it does look very pretty, with its green flashing lights inside the elegantly cut jewel.

The emerald charm will be on sale for the price of one slithy tove for a limited period only. Don't forget, after you have bought it, you have to 'WEAR 2006 EMERALD' so your adoring fans will be able to see it when they look at you. What's that? You don't have adoring fans? Really? It must be just me then...
