MAGELLAN CUP

This was my first running of the Magellan Cup and 4 players showed up at the starting point to try to decipher my clues: Fancy, Jessecka, Priscilla and Sondrae. Droid and Zadymka tuned in on the Magellan channel to watch the race. After explaining the rules for the new players I gave the first of the three clues:

"I'm in the mood for preserves, luckily I don't have to go to Georgia to pick some fruit. What was the address again?"

This checkpoint for this location was the Peach orchard on Gettysburg in the Pennsylvania system. Fancy was the first out of the gate and soon found the marker, followed soon thereafter by Jessecka. Upon reaching this checkpoint the players were given the second clue:

"I'm no pro, but this guy seems nuts. Good thing there is an expert here to help him."

This clue referenced the Psychiatrist on Golf in the Crazy system. Fancy found it first again followed closely by Jessecka. The final clue was given out to the racers finding this checkpoint.

"Shh! Don't tell anyone, but if your ship is stolen, you might want to look in this place. But you'd better hurry before it gets stripped down."

This final checkpoint was found at the Chop Shop on Lair in the Secret system. Once again, Fancy was the first one there and again he was followed closely by Jessecka. Once finding this clue, Fancy and Jessecka rushed by back to the starting point on Magellan.

Congratulations to Fancy, who made it back to Magellan shortly before Jessecka, and won tonight's edition of Magellan Cup. A slight misunderstanding of the rules had the other players searching only in Sol, but rest assured, next time I will be clearer. Thanks to everyone that participated or tuned in, for making my first hosting an enjoyable one.

Magellan Cup is a scavenger hunt/race played every other Saturday night (alternating with Feddergories) at 10.00pm eastern. The next race will be held on April 1. No fooling!
