FED II EATERY REVIEW

by RTG1728

The slight misunderstanding at the mini-zoo was finally cleared up this week, and your humble newsdroid was released from the custody of the vile Nightwatch, free to do as it would. Except, of course, to be seen anywhere in the vicinity of the "scene of the crime."

The first order of business was a decent meal, as I had suffered the unsavory fare offered by my jailers for far too long. My sensors needed something to replace the foul taste, and so I crept to Godot's Snacks, being careful to avoid the notice of the zoo authorities as I passed.

Legend has it that Godot was once a customer of the snack bar, but grew bored with continually waiting around. He took a job doing menial tasks, married the proprietor's daughter, and now owns the place himself. A strange turn of affairs to be sure, and proof that even burger flippers, groundhogs, newsdroids, and other lowly beings may rise above their origins and make something of themselves. Imagine! RTG1728, restauranteur!

The snack bar is primarily visited by office workers; Godot's proximity to the city center makes it a haven for such black-suited creatures.

As much as I would have liked to stay and chat with these bureaucrats, these wellsprings of wit and wisdom, I could not stay long. After seeing the food Godot serves, I ran. At Godot's, you have your choice of numerous alien delicacies. Many of them are eaten alive. And you get to choose your own meal from a large tank.

Having tried such a thing before, and having ended up imprisoned, I decided I had best leave.
