Part 6 - Checklist
CHECKING THE PLANET MAP
- The planet map file should be named using your planetname, ie bodville.loc - all in lower case.
- If there is a message file, it should be named using your planetname, ie bodville.msg - all in lower case.
- None of the locations should use any of the space properties - space, link and peace.
- The locations should not be crammed up against any of the edges.
- The map should have at least ten locations.
- There should be no movements that lead to a non-existent location.
- The map title should be set on the Map Info panel - it should be the name of your planet, for example Bodville, and all the words should start with a capital letter.
- The launch pad and orbit location numbers should be set - ie 365 and Newstar.Newstar Space.460.
- There must be a hospital - but only one.
- If there is a shipyard, there should only be one.
- The total number of locations for both space and planet map must not exceed 50.
