NEW FLEE AND REPAIR SPACESHIP COMMANDS IN THE GAME

NEW VERSION OF EVENT EDITOR FOR WINDOWS RELEASED - ADDS OBJECT CREATION AND DESTRUCTION SCRIPTS

There is a new version of the Event Editor which adds the scripts you can use to create and destroy objects, check a player's inventory, and check where a player is. Plus, the new verson of the Advanced Workbench Manual which explains how to use the new scripts.

PLUTOCRATS GET A CHRISTMAS PRESENT

NEW TESLA PLANET CHECKER FOR WINDOWS

A new version of the Tesla planet checker for Windows has been released. It checks the latest scripts, allows you to change the font, and remembers where your files live.


NEW OBJECT EDITOR RELEASED
December 6

The next part of the Advanced Workbench has been released - the object editor which lets you create objects to add to your planet. Download it here, and get the next release of the manual which explains how to use the editor here.


MAC USERS WANTED TO TEST EVENT EDITOR
November 26

We now have a version of the event editor that runs on Mac computers so we are recruiting Mac-using volunteers to join the planet test team and try out the new version of the editor. There are a few requirements:

  • You must be an Engineer or higher.
  • You must have a customized planet in the game that you designed yourself - no stock planets!
  • You must have been able to follow the instructions to get the files linked into the game in the first place without me having to chuck the files back because they contained errors.

If you use a Mac and would like to volunteer for the planet test team please send an email to feedback@ibgames.com. Put Fed2 Planet Test Team in the subject line, and give your Fed2 character name and the name of your star system.
