THE FED2 WORK SCHEDULE

Fed2 is always in development because we're constantly thinking up new content and enhancements, and although all of the ranks are now in place, from Groundhog to Plutocrat, there's still a lot to be done, from essential items to do with planet economics, to non-essentials like ship fighting.

2009 was a year of accelerated development for Fed2 which will now ease to a more measured pace in 2010 as the ibgames principals have taken up new and demanding professional roles in Real Life(tm).

To give you some idea of what we have in store for you, here's some of the items on the Fed2 To Do list. Note that this is subject to change without notice.


Currently working on:

  • Event editor
  • Ship fighting


Scheduled:

  • Cartel builds: Planetary Management Computers, Stock Exchanges, Okie Cities, Space Fleets
  • Add code for POs to give jobs directly to Commanders and Captains
  • Job pipelining
  • Factory pipelining


To work on later:

  • FedTerm upgrade - add cartel display page.
  • Trophy cabinet to store charms and other objects on players' planets.
  • Tesla upgrades - add even more more checking facilities, specifically for events
  • Mobiles that move, including space mobiles
