OPENING A TELNET WINDOW TO PLAY FED2If you can't access Fed2 any other way then you can use any telnet connection, for example the basic telnet client that comes with Windows. Click the PLAY FED link below to fire up a telnet window and connect to the Fed2 computer. Warning: It's not very elegant, the formatting will be all over the place, and it has no input window so you won't be able to see what you are typing - but at least it will show you that the game works! If this doesn't work, and you are using a Windows computer, try this: Click the Start button (on the bottom left of your screen) and select Run. In the box that comes up, type the following:
then press return. Note that the ordinary Windows telnet program does not handle backspaces - so if you mistype anything, you cannot correct it! This is important when you choose your account ID and password, or your character name. Back to Help for New Players page |
